Scammer posing as Ken K5ALQ

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Scammer posing as Ken K5ALQ

Post by kg8y »

BEWARE!!!! Same deal as before.
Scammer posing as Ken Blevins this time. dkenk5alq@gmail.com

Responding to my WTB ad.
Asking for cashapp and zelle payment for parts that don't match the description. Clearly no ham radio knowledge. No photos.

K5ALQ does not have an email listed on his qrz profile, so someone certainly needs to notify him if he is not SK.

Yes, this guy is to be avoided. FWIW He responded to my WTB ad. Couldn’t answer the questions I asked about the item. Then he told me he had a “dead” amplifier he would sell me. After several email exchanges, I caught wise when he sent a nice photo of the amplifier that was obviously copied.
