ScammerAlert! I advertised for a Tarheel screwdriver antenna and received an email from LE ROY J Jacobs <[email protected]>. He provided a beautiful picture of the antenna etc and It was just what I wanted but turned out to be a scam. He requested 'friends and family' payment thru different Paypal address.([email protected]) I was stupid for paying that way so I was scammed out of $300.00. I knew better than to pay via friends and family and will never do it again! I checked LE ROY J Jacobs <[email protected]> on QRZ and they reported he was deceased/silent key in 2015. Buyers be ware! I believe the scammer may be a relative to the silent key and even a ham operator himself.
