What is going on ???

I have contacted FIVE SELLERS in the past two weeks on this site and had the following happen. One was a No Response, three had already sold the item and not removed them from the site and the fifth who had a listed item for sale and said nothing about selling locally only, refused the sale to me stating he wanted to wait a few weeks and see if he could sell locally before selling with shipping ??? This is pitiful from fellow hams. We used to hold ourselves to a higher standard. How hard is it to remove a sold item ? Oh wait they sold it for free and got their money so why bother removing it ? If you do not want to ship say so ! There is no defense for such actions.
