Sammy had a rather sizeable (80 pounds worth) of plate transformer for sale here on QTH. After communicating with him, I felt confident that Sammy would pack it well, and keep up his end of the bargain. I sent funds, and waited. The transformer arrived today via Fed Ex as promised, and the packing was beyond excellent. The transformer was bolted to a board, and had a wood top piece for additional support. It was also double boxed in very heavy duty boxes! I should add that there was no extra charge for the beyond excellent packing and materials.

While I have not put any AC on it yet, I am not concerned. It's obvious to me that Sammy knows how to pack things. I would not hesitate to purchase from him in the future based upon this first experience with him.
