PayPal and eBay can scam you!

PayPal and eBay they scam

I have read the reviews of others reference PayPal and also eBay because they are one company now. I recently sold an antique radio to a jerk in Michigan. After receipt and email saying it arrived safe and was working he applied for a "Refund". PayPal accepted his request with no input from me, no case being filed and no authorization from me. So they grabbed $200 from my account. I have no radio and I am out $200. So be careful of their so called "Buyer Protection Program" I disregarded or did not pay attention to the other negative comments, here and other ham sites, because it had not happened to me. Well to sum up I have cancelled my accounts with both eBay and PayPal, after 20+ years. Also note, it is impossible to contact either eBay or PayPal. Only responses to my efforts at contact was 7 generic messages. So please, "Seller Beware" Roger, K8CIX

I agree. Customer service is non existent - got burned by a scammer seller and I had documentation, etc and they never reviewed it let alone asked for it. He got to keep his money and I ended up with a safety hazard that would shock you with 110vac. Neither are to be trusted. They screw sellers a lot and even buyers....

In addition, mailed them a Western Union money order for a monthly payment, rcvd, cashed it and now 1 week later, balance still not reflecting the payment. either someone there stole it, or they are extremely slow to show the payment....either way, very unprofessional....

No point posting info on QRZ, it only gets locked. Be sure to post bad Ebay or PP experiences where folks can see your info. Ihave an investigation on my issue with cashing a payment and not crediting my account on going. Next is law enforcement action.

Appears now, that someone at PP stole the money order and cashed it. Of course, not one admits fault and no one refunds anything, screwed by dishonest folks at PP. I know it was rcvd as it was not stolen in the mail. I contacted their customer service which is a freakin joke, doing an investigation (sure) and never heard back.
