CAUTION: KE8ARM Odd Experience/Encounter

Not sure if this an attempt to scam or what.
Will keel this short. Rcvd emails from this call via Craigslist for an item I had posted for local sale. Guy badgered me for 2 weeks to sell it to him and ship it. Told him I didn't really want to ship, then I caved and said I could. He agreed to buy it and pay the shipping. Then in another email, told me to be sure to let him know when shipped and he would send the payment. Sorry, uh, no. Doesn't work that way. Anyway, I told him the shipped price after that and never heard back.
So, not sure what to make of it. Lots of red flags.
1. No questions about the item in particular
2. No request as usual for a multitude of pics.
3. No request for payment methods (he suggested PP) (which likely would have been family and friends).
4. Only has a PO box
5. Asked to let him know when shipped (which wasn't going to happen).
6. Never asked for my phone number or to talk (not a guarantee I am talking to the callsign holder)
So do your homework, if it just doesn't feel right, smell right, etc., it likely isn't. So just be careful.
