Some time ago I purchased 1/2" pulling rope from Davis Rope and Wire for a tower erection job at my home! The sections of Rohn 55g tower weigh near 100 pounds a section! We were pulling around 3 pulleys- one at top of gin pole- one at bottom of tower and one about 15' out in my yard ! This was done for safety to keep the ground men away from the tower for safety! This rope had a 7050 pound rating and was Great for this kind of job! When needing rope this is a very good product to use! Sam. W8SPM
