I'm not saying not to deal with Dan, just be sure you stipulate conditions on returns.

I purchased a well described SM-220 from him but the unit turns our to.be defective. I contacted him for the return, he agreed and when I told him to include the return shipping he FIRMLY stated he WILL NOT pay for the return shipping and that I CAN OPT TO KEEP IT IF I WANT TO. Seriously? The buyer to keep a defective item?? Will you do the same Dan if it happens to you.???

Anyway, I paid for the return shipping and lost $42 but that's fine inatead of losing more.

Sorry Dan, I read all your reviews and they were good except with my experience. Caveat Emptor

I resold the scope to someone and he assured me it worked as it should. I believed the deal was about buyers remorse and it turned out to be correct.

I've had 2 of those in the past and I know absolutely when one works or not, its not about buyers remorse.
