Here's an easy one for you homebrewers: is there any reason I should NOT use solid state relays to switch the primary power ( one relay in each leg of 240VAC )in my KW amplifier project? The switches I want to use on the front panel would probably not handle the load for long, and the low voltage DC control power is there.
