Larry , k5xg, had a lm-470 crankup tower for sale on qth.com
We went and looked at the tower and then called Larry since he lives at another qth.
Due to the bad weather in Dallas arrangements were made and agreed to pay cash and move the tower the next Sunday.
The weather improved, had cash in hand and so I called Larry to pick it up sooner upon where I was told that he had already sold the tower.
This individual lied and dd not even have the where with all to call me and let us know what he had done.
He has other electronics connectors, coax, etc. he will be selling in the future.
Be extremely careful as you cannot trust anything that this man says.
Heads up.

Here are the facts:

Mr. Holzheimer called me and came by on a Saturday to view the tower.
He said he would return on Sunday (next day) to pay for and take away the tower.
He did not leave any contact information nor any payment.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday passed with no contact from Mr. Holzheimer.

Friday another person called and wanted the tower. The new caller wire transferred full payment to me on Friday. The new caller sent his representative by on early Saturday morning and removed the tower. Mr. Holzheimer called Saturday afternoon and stated he wanted to come then to pick up the tower. I told Mr. Holzheimer that the tower had been sold to another since he never came by nor called back to say he would be delayed in paying for and removing the tower.
