UPS? FRAGILE ??

Post by N9LCD » Mon Apr 11, 2016 1:28 pm

While checking the UPS website for packing & shipping guidelines, I came across the following quote:

Note: UPS does not provide special handling for packages with "Fragile", package orientation (e.g., "UP" arrows or "This End Up" markings), or any other similar such markings.

IN OTHER WORDS "FRAGILE" DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING TO UPS. AND THEY ADMIT IT!!!

I am not surprised. Call me pessimistic but I have always considered a 'fragile' declaration to be an invite to the handlers to see what it takes to make the package rattle.
