I contacted K9KEV Kevin regarding a W2IHY 8 Band EQ he had for sale at the time. I had just bought one from another ham so I just wanted to touch base with Kevin on the EQ. While talking to him, he ended up giving me some great tips on how to use the EQ. He also told me about a few other items he had for sale which included a Tarheel antenna. I liked the price but didnt have the full asking price at the time so I asked if he could hold it for me. This was back in early December 2015. He told me the Tarheel was mine whenever I could come up with the money. well last week we talked again and I was ready to buy the Tarheel. He told me he would take a USPS money order. I told him I could do pay pal only. Well after a 30 or so minute conversation I decided I would only purchase the Tarheel if he would take paypal to which he told me to wait and he would call me in a few minutes. When he called a few minutes later he told me he would personally deliver the Tarheel to me if I could meet him at the local Air Port. Keep in mind he is 500 miles away from me. We set a time and date and sure enough he calls me telling me his plane is landing at the air port 5 minutes away. I met up with him and exchanged goods. He has my money and I have the Tarheel and I ended up purchasing a Turbo Tuner Controller also. Wow, I didnt think i would ever get personal delivery like that. Aside from his personal effort to fly down to deliver the Tarheel, Kevin is a great person to talk to. very knowledgeable and just an overall nice person. GREAT DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU KEVIN.
