Good guy report - Michael Larson KC0CF

I purchased a laptop from Michael KC0CF... I'm an old computer tech from back before Bill Gates came out with MSDOS and I'd rather buy a refurbished computer from Michael than any retail outlet. The price was fair, the condition was excellent, he did a great job on fixing, cleaning and upgrading it. With retail outlets, they are selling things someone else has refurbished and they don't care that much about the condition... they simply care that it goes out the door. If you have a problem and bring it back, guess what? Nine times out of ten they say, sorry... you need to contact the refurbisher, that's not our product. But with Michael, you get a ham who is refurbishing computers for hams. He knows what we need, knows what to look for and then does it. He cares about his reputation and wants to make sure nothing ships out that's not working perfectly.
Micheal's communication both before and after the sale was excellent. He answered the questions I had about the product promptly in both cases. He installs a backup utility program and includes a recovery disk that likely works better than the Windows system, should anything ever go awry. Frankly, I think it's quite likely I may never find out. The machine I purchased is high quality, a model that was sold to business and industry, and I expect to still be using it in good shape years from now.
Honestly, if you want more than that, you are too picky to own a computer... =^D
