I hate doing this, I don't want to sound petty, but the fella did me wrong. Purchased a Swan VFO from him, for a fair price assuming the unit was operational. Knowing that my application wasn't a direct plug in, I opened the VFO cabinet to begin wiring it to my rig, which to my surprise, the circuit board was burnt to a crisp. I've never plugged it in.

So, I had emailed him, and his first response was "How do I know you didn't do it?", I know we're on the honor system here, but really? Anyhow, he claimed it was ok before I bought it, and then after my discovery, he said that he'd plugged it in and it didn't work. Really?

I tried to make a deal where he bought the parts, and I'd just fix it myself... $20, all I had asked for, and it's apparently too much.

It's just the principle now. He said it wouldn't make or break him. Obviously it would have.

It's a pretty VFO Steve, but you never followed through making it right.
