W4GRF Great Seller

Post by kd6anf »

Recently posted an add for a portable radio here on QTH. Later the same day a response was received from Glen, W4GRF. Glen had "exactly" what I was looking for and provided clear images of the radio and accessories as well. The asking price was fair and Glen even offered to have the radio reprogrammed, an added and unexpected bonus as well as including an original speaker-mic. Glen also used 2-day priority mail and the package was promptly delivered on-time! It actually took longer than expected to unpack the radio and accessories because of the outstanding packaging job. I did not know about Styrofoam corner inserts, but there they were located in each corner of the box, which could have probably survived a drop out of a fourth story window without damage. Of course the real surprise was when the actual radio itself was finally unwrapped, it appeared NEW, even though Glen had it for the last 15 years or so.

Glen really takes great care of his equipment and is “a man of his word”.

Thank you again Glen, it was a real pleasure doing business with you.
