KC6WGN Gideon Banez- Be careful when dealing with this guy!

I recently purchased a Yaesu FT-102 from KC6WGN under the pretense that it had good RX/TX on 20 meters. I knew that the unit had a potentially erratic bandswitch per the ad listing. The listing also mentioned that the radio had 100 watts output on 20 meters. I received the unit via USPS last week. When I secured the package from my postman, I immediately heard what sounded like broken glass inside the box. Just from its initial appearance, I could tell from the box that the radio had been poorly packed. The FT-102 is a rather large and heavy radio and needs adequate packing material; this was not evident. Honestly, I was a little afraid to open the box. When I gained enough courage to do so, I noticed several dents/dings on the top and right side of the unit. I took off the top cover and found one of the 6146B final tubes completely crushed. There were also modifications performed to the unit by a previous owner that I was not aware of by KC6WGN. The main VFO shaft was not secure and one of the relays on the RF board was modified. I eventually replaced the broken final tube with a good one and obtained ZERO output on 20 meters. I called and emailed KC6WGN the same day I received the unit. I only wanted to share with him my experience with the unit and he has yet to contact myself. I believe that I should be entitled to a partial refund. In the meantime, I've tried to revive the unit but to not avail. This was a last resort to post this, but I only want other hams to merely be careful when dealing with this guy. We hams are suppose to be upfront with one another, but sadly, there are some dishonest hams out there.
