How much someone who love these old radios should pay for one that be in mint condition,as new?

No Ed,you don't scare me,precisely,I followed that crazy auction that ended in the very insane price of $3050,that made laugh so much
Who said Drakes are losing price? If the guiness book had a dedicated place for hams deals,sure this one was going to be there and the guy who bought it as well,don't you think?

If (and that's a big if) I had that kind of extra money, the item would
need more soul, history and character than a Drake transceiver.
I have several Drake's and appreciate what they are.

And IF I had that kind of money I would buy a real radio,not definitively an old Drake,I have repaired lots of them and know exactly what they are,thanks ED
