ITEM NOT RECEIVED N1KOQ JAMES GREENHALGH

Post by N5PTV »

I purchased a Kenwood MC-60a and SP-23 from James Greenhalgh on July 20. I asked for a tracking number. It has been 13 days and James has still not provided a tracking number or date of shipment after several attempts. He simply told me he shipped the items from his fathers mail room. Before I purchased he told me that he would sell the items for $160 shipped via UPS. Anyway, lesson learned this guy is a fraud and a liar. I have filed a claim with PayPal. This is the first time I have been screwed on QTH.

JAMES GREENHALGH N1KOQ DISHONEST

Post by N5PTV »

I am still awaiting an answer from PayPal for the reimbursement of my payment to JAMES GREENHALGH, N1KOQ. He has yet to respond to any emails. Looks like he did indeed rip me off. Email communication was quick and plentiful, until he got my money. Sooner or later, my guess is he will reply with some verbose sob story and promise it won't happen again, and pledge to make it right. I have seen that time and time again on the feedback forums. It seems to me that people like JAMES GREENHALGH get in a financial pinch and use QTH and other amateur radio sites for a loan by selling items they don't actually own or never intend to deliver.
