Ed W4EMW disappoints, twice!!!

I recently bought a pair of 3-500 Z's in their original cartons from
Ed, W4EMW! Ed claimed they were tested and worked well. They arrived
in good physical shape but shorted out when power was applied.
The tubes have since been tested by an electronic service depot
to find they were gassy and therefore very defective! Ed responded to my
complaint that he had no idea they were bad and would send a check in
a week. That was a few months ago and now no check! :: He is not responding to any emails to resolve the situation. I cannot recommend doing buisness with Ed W4EMW. It is too bad as he appears to be a straight arrow but not this time!
