W4KR - Proceed with caution!

Post by kc5pcb »

I never thought I would ever have to do this kind of post.

I purchased from Stanley King W4KR what was supposed to be an original Yaesu FT-101 Factory Service Manual. When I received it, I discovered it was a copy. I e-mailed Stan about it, but after 24 hrs with no reply I had to contact PayPal. In Mr. Kings statement to PayPal, he tried to accuse me of copying it and sending it back for a refund. Seriously! Why would anyone go to all that effort. I told him that I already had a copy of what he sent me. I downloaded it from mods.dk back in 2008. I was looking for an "original".

I could go on more about the contents of his later replies, but I am not going to. All I can say is that if you chose to deal with him, ask a lot of questions and get pictures of what you are purchasing. That was my mistake in not asking to see what I was purchasing. My Bad. Bottom line is that I don't take kindly to being called a liar or being accuse of doing something I didn't do.
