I am the E911 Coordinator in Webster County, Iowa and I am trying to locate a list or an updated list of all ham radio operators in our county area.

I have a few listed in an old directory, but these operators are no longer available.

Just need to know where to look and how. These people will be sent a letter and asked permission, to be added to a city/county disaster book, that I've created.

Any help is very much appreciated.

You can search the FCC data base by ZIP code if you use the advanced search feature. Be sure to select amateur radio category, active licenses only. There are other features too; including changing the number of hits per page and changing the sort order.

To find all of the hams in the county, use all of the zip codes in the county.

There is no other way since the licensee county is not collected on the license application form.
