WD9JIM, WA9QNN - T-368 DAMAGE

Post by w9sws »

The excuse QNN used for backing out of the paid for Ebay sale was that the unit was damaged in an accident in the garage and was no longer for sale. My request for proof was ignored. After WA9JIM listed the Item on an AM NET last Saturday morning I contacted him to see if he would do the right thing, even offering to pay a little more. Two days later I received an e-mail from him staing that in-fact the unit had been damaged - the mod deck chassis and all the front panels had been scratched. The pictures appear to be the same one(s) used in the Ebay sale. I see no mention of the damage in the listing. If there is damage it has apparantly INCREASED the value of this unit over the Ebay sale price. He obviously rejected my offer stating that this was all my fault. For winning the Ebay auction and paying promptly I guess. BE CAREFULL OUT THERE.
