Re: Scam alert - Harry M Saunders <[email protected]>
Received an email from him outside of QTH.com for something I have for sale in ham radio area. Replied that I knew he was a scammer after doing a google on his email address, which led me here. So I emailed him that I was aware he is a scammer and has been outed. Then he sends me ANOTHER email:
"I apologize for my late response; this was due to some health issues. I will prepare a cashier's check or money order for the total amount, along with an additional payment for express shipping via UPS Next Day. Once the funds clear your bank in 1-2 days, I will ask you to package and ship the item. Please let me know if this arrangement works for you, and provide your full name and mailing address to ensure the delivery goes to the correct person. I look forward to your response."

The check is even printed incorrectly. No check printer would allow the MICR to overprint the body of the check and be crooked! Or allow the check number to run on to the top border.
