Received a direct email (clue #1) from someone claiming to be N1OS, Mark Buliszak.
Not the first one like this I have received for this particular item but what puzzles me (and is also clue #2) is why they word their emails like I’m the one looking for this item. Or, maybe that is a tactic to get a response.
Clue #3, no specific mention of the item so they can just copy/paste the text to each email sent out.

Everytime i post an ad on this website, i get at least 3 to 4 scammers with similar wordings plus one who sent me pics of a complete rig that i didnt want and the person on the other end acted like i was the one causing problems for not purchasing HIS radio when i posted a wanted ad for parts.

Scot needs to purge the whole website of registered members. send them emails to re register but have to upload ham license like Eqsl.cc does and a photo id to match address and name.Also put the website where no one can cut and paste anyones info from the site.anyone wanting to buy or sell would have to be pre vetted to prevent a major amount of scammers. and when pre vetted, all members and sellers and buyers posting ads will not have their personal info allowed to get out. everyone would be given a number and that number cooresponds to a photo ,a license that QTH would store. on another server. And anyone not vetted cant get the emails from the ads.or access them,.
