I sold a mint 1 month old FT-991a to Nelson Esteves for which I let him pay with Paypal even though I knew better. He gets the radio and 3 days later opens a dispute with PayPal. He stated that the radio was low on power and the internal tuner did not work. He also stated that the radio would not activate an external tuner. I let him return the radio a week later. I tested the radio upon return and found there were no issues at all. Nelson either did not know what he was doing or had buyer's remorse. The radio was returned with a scratch on the top case. I am out $49.00 shipping and now have a $15.00 dispute charge on my PayPal account. He then sent me a nasty email back after I sent him an email stating there were no issues with the radio. I would definitely avoid any transactions with NP3ST Nelson Esteves. I also just noticed that he kept the Heil mic cable I sent him for free.
