For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Scammer Report

I received three dodgy emails from the same IP address: 165.22.239.236, with three different names but the same bogus message asking about information that was in the ad. The first name used was "Barry Lawson" , no call sign, next "Mike White", again no call sign, and then a third from "Bruce Climax", who pawned the call KG9D. Avoid this a**.

KG9D has a published email address on qrz.com. Did you try to contact him using that email address or send him a QRZ Private Message to confirm it was him?
