Same old junk reposted every day

Post by W9BHI »

I wish people would stop relisting the the same stuff over and over everyday for months at a time at the same price.
If it hasn't sold in the last few months then maybe you should lower your price or scrap it.
Some of this stuff is just plain worthless junk that was probably picked up at a yard sale.
Recycle it or throw it away!
Just my 2 cents.

Same 3 guys, you know who they are, same old junk that nobody wants, same thing everyday. They never lower their prices. All they want to do is get their adds to the top. I don't know why the owner of this site allows this. These guys are running a business and that is supposedly not allowed. People will flame me and defend them that "they are helping out widows of SK's" but wading through the same adds everyday is such a waste of everyones time. I"ll bet if Scott charged a small fee to advertise, that practice would come to a screeching halt.

I have to agree with some of the comments posted here. It is starting to be very annoying. Everyone knows who these guys are is right! The same stuff, day after day after day, two or three times a day. The length of the ads, sometimes a whole page or two, or more is ridiculous. It is actually rude, selfish, ignorant, and just a waste of QTH web space. I wonder if there was a fee for these huge, worthless listings, if these guys would pull this same crap every day? I think not! I also was wondering maybe if some of us banded together, and start a fund, to buy ALL of the junk these jokers list multiple times every day, all year long, and take it to the scrap yard, and sell it by the pound to get what it's really worth if anything? Then, start a huge bonfire, and burn all of the useless, ancient manuals and all the other burnable garbage that no one wants, and donate all of the proceeds from the scrap yard to QTH.com. Would that possibly reduce, or eliminate, the amount of abused, and wasted web space listed by these individuals every day? Just wishful thinking, I guess. Anyway, just a thought?? 8)
