Davidk4pefradio@gmail.com beware

Post by wa6mdi »

There is a scammer out there using an email address of (davodk4pefradio@gmail.com) Basically I placed an ad for a Q5 902 MHz transverter and was told he had one. Tried with Paypal and it would not accept that email address (I should have been aware at this point.) Then I was told to send a USPS money order to this address in Prescott AZ. Looked it up on Google Earth and it was legitimate address. Several communications via email and then nothing. I am out $450.00

There has been a claim filed with the USPS but at this point I'm not holding out much hope.

Beware.

It's the same scammer with multiple email addresses and aliases. How could they be so blatantly dumb to request money sent to a physical address?
