I have the Jupiter 538, want hand mike, understand most will work but I have very low vision and cannot rewire one to do the job, any suggestions please?
Would swap the ten tec electaset desk mike for hand mike that will work.

you can not just swap mics with out verifying the pin out of the connectors. Especially since electret mics have an 8 volt
or so line to power the element. Connecting the wrong pin to the 8 volts would either wipe out the 8 volt supply
or put 8 volts somewhere you really dont want it..
Get help with schematics for TEN-TEC and any mic and with any rewireing..

Dick, if you're still interested in trading a mic, I have one that will work. It's a Ten Tec hand mic that I have used with a Pegasus, 526 (6n2,) and Orion 1.. they are all the same pinout. I will email you...
