John Smith KA1KLO

Fellow QTH members; watch out for this guy. I sold him 3 items as a package deal, was paid via Paypal and he stated that the Icom 2/440 mobile didn't work properly. I said OK he returned it to me and I sent back the portion of the payment via postal M.O. So, instead of contacting me first, he filed a claim with Paypal for what the advertised price of the radio was, the difference,$10 and wanted to be reimbursed for shipping charges to send the radio back. I know of and never agreed to such a thing. So now I have a block on my Paypal account for the full amount of $250.00 This is a bunch of BS. This guy is someone to look out for. He is a dealer, plain and simple trying to get the remaining items even cheaper. Avoid this guy like the plague!!!!! Signed; Dave K9UX

Dave:

Was the radio actually defective? It would be helpful to have some of the details causing the issue.
