Well it appears QRZ has deleted the thread as a Hoax.

Thanks I have that but what I am looking for is the original unedited thread where he had posted copies of the state police emails and records and his as well as other posters comments.
From what little I managed to see it was people telling him to be very careful posting what he did and to make certain his facts were correct, the letters from the state police clearly showed who they considered guilty.
I have asked QRZ.com for copies and the administrators there but everything is taken care off :)
I do not intend to post further at this time

What's interesting is that many of those who posted on QRZ indicated that they could find no evidence of an auction for a 7600 on ebay, no evidence that the person sold a 7600 and no evidence that Martyn bought one (at least not on ebay).

Now Martyn shows up with a pic of a safe in a box.... hmmmmm

You can all wait for Martyn to end this, but it did not end well for Louis.

Put yourself in my shoes, I gave a stranger $2800 and 3 weeks later got a box containing SCRAP,, now if you were to open a box that should have contained a $3000 radio what the heck would you do? oh poor Louis,, yea Right,, like your making it out to be my fault I was conned and still are out $2800
I intend like I have mentioned to persue this to the full extent of the law in every way so this crook cannot do this to anyone else.

What is strange is there is no record of any 7600 ever being sold on ebay during the time in question. A "completed listings" search reveals no IC-7600 ever being sold for 2800 bucks, period.

Ebay would not remove such a listing unless it was through legal action, I believe or that it never existed.

Wow Marty,

I get blasted because I said this was an interesting scenario you have going here... Are we getting closer to the truth??

Just as an aside, can you provide a link to the auction??

NJ1K, it is hard to see what context you responded but I will try to make one thing clear, Umm how did I blast you?

However your statement "Are we getting closer to the truth??"

I have to respond to who is We? and maybe you would like to explain "Are we getting closer to the truth"?

perhaps you should call the Kentucky state police here in Frankfort and ask for the trooper in charge of the case if you would like to know any other information as I am shure he will be more than interested in what you have to say as would I.

I am pleased this person has been exposed for his despicable action of sending a dead weight out instead of a radio which is why the state police are involved.

It is my personal opinion that had he not messed with me then another innocent person may have not known what to do?

As this is an ongoing criminal case I really have said way more than I should as it is.

Just checked, the auction is still showing but do not see why it should be discussed further except between my State police, my county attorney, eBay high risk management team, PayPal, myself and the other party involved, his county attorney and police.

If it is still showing, would you be willing to supply a link?

It is not on ebay's completed listings search. The only one visible is an unsold IC-7600 for $3,229.00 on Sep-04 12:03.

There is no record anywhere in any search engine for any 7600 sold by kd6sbr-tom.

Then maybe eBay trust and safety have it hidden from general view but I can bring it up on my browser
I would call eBay and ask them?
there are no questions from seller, the description is simple and I will copy it for you here.

Like new condition, Icom IC-7600 HF/ 6M ,

Very little use ( purchased about 5 months ago and still in use, I am the second owner ) getting out of amateur radio, and need the cash, I will miss this rig. The display is fantastic, I thought the IC-756PRO was good, but this rig puts it to shame. TRUE DUAL RECEIVE!, Like having two radios for the price of one. Everything works as it should. SEE MY PICS, These are EXTREME CLOSEUPS, you may see some dusts on the screen, like I stated, this rig is still in use till I sell it, 73's.
You can go to Icom's site for full specs if needed, but I will also post here.
SELLS NEW FOR AROUND $3,600.00 (aes), purchased at local swap meet for $3,100.00, I know I can't sell for what I paid ( 2nd owner) so am willing to start the bidding at $2,500.00 WITH NO RESERVE! and A "BUY-IT-NOW" Price of $2800.00 + SHIPPING ($65.00 UPS GROUND)

***PRICE "DOES NOT" INCLUDE A FLAT RATE SHIPPING PRICE OF $65.00 ANYWHERE IN THE LOWER 48

PAYMENT DUE AT END OF AUCTION, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Contact me for any other details if you need to.
(SORRY, BUT I hate people who don't pay, aka "Chantruse")

*****ALSO WILLING TO SHIP WORLDWIDE, OF COURSE SHIPPING WILL BE EXTRA AFTER YOU CONTACT ME WITH DETAILS.
Thanks for reading my ad, Tom.

Here are the specs, for anyone who is not familiar with this rig:

I also offer a full warranty if not satisfied ( I think you will be very happy with this rig.)

when did the auction end? do you have the ID # available? Usually even if something is pulled, I find it odd it's not in a search engine listing...

I do know the auction end date, it was just under 4 weeks ago,, I do have the item # etc but there has to be a reason that its not showing up to you as well as others, like I said I see it just fine.
I will not be giving the item #, most people know me and my user ID and the sellers too.
My recomendation would be to contact eBay and ask them all and or any questions concerning it not showing up?

Oh smarty marty,

You are so full of drama. The way I see it, you're in on the ruse.... Otherwise you would have no problem giving up the auction number (if there really was one to begin with)....

Good night old pal, We both know what is what here, don't we??

You mean to tell me that even with their "no Editing or Deleting Policy" they still deleted a thread? I just don't believe it. OH Yeah, I almost forgot, according to FRED, ALL moderation is selective.

I have to agree with this, something does smell a little "fishy" here. You cut/pasted most of the [supposed] eBAY auction material, yet you didn't post the auction number; and when repeatedly asked for the auction number, you have been ignoring those requests. What's the deal?

And another thing

Post by NJ1K »

I also noticed there is NO feeback pertaining to this "supposed" transaction on either KD6SBR's ebay feedback listings and as well, there is no feedback on Martyn's ebay feedback page either.

As a matter of fact, I didn't see any dealings on the feedback pages of these two with each other at any time.

So, who is fooling who here??
