Be very carefull in dealing with KA9YMH he sold me 4 radios one was totally DOA and he refused to execpt it back. He said he won't test out any equipment as he doesn't have the time. His comment to me when I contacted him about the radio was "all sales are buyer beware". I did receive one tester and 3 other radios that worked so just be carefull on what you buy from him as his prices are very high for untested equipment that he doesn't know if it even lights up and I did tell him so.

If his ads say "untested"..then you took a chance and lost. I NEVER buy "untested" stuff for that reason!... Tough it up and move on!
I'm with WX1F if you bought a advertised item that the seller says is untested odds are he knows there is the high possibility of there being a problem. You gambled and lost but it appears out of 4 units only one does not work so it's not like he scamed you and sent you a box of rocks.

Unless it is a well-known seller, the lexicon is usually:
Untested = not working
Small surface scratches = beat up
Light rust spots = corroded beyond use
Lights up when powered = sparks were flying everywhere
In use daily = keeps the door propped open
My all time favorite = gawd I hope somebody buys this
Needs alignment = not working
Collector quality = who knows?
Vintage = older than I am
Reduced price = not even a nibble at the ridiculous price I started
Pictures are blurry but you can tell ... = Pictures are blurry so you CAN'T tell
Taken in trade = I got screwed, it's your turn now
No refunds = Good friggin' luck!
Short power cord = stolen from under a dashboard that was hard to reach with cutters

I really should not take the time to reply but I will. I listed all items from the estate "as -is untested" I had over 100 items to sell for the estate and was not about to go and check every item.Plus I did not have the means to test most. A lot of the items were CB radios and accessories. Some were export cb radios like the 4 you purchased . I was up front with you and we had several conversations on the phone as to the terms and extent of testing done. You agreed to the price and terms. I packed well and they arrived safe and timely.There were no guarantees on anything from this estate due to the fact it was not my equipment and I knew nothing of its history. You even said the other three export cb radios worked so you can see it was not intentional. I find it funny that out of all of the estate stuff sold yours is the only complaint. I think that speaks for itself.
All that being said, I am sorry you were not 100% satisfied wit the transaction but I did everything I could to be as up front and honest before the sale as I could. Thanks...........
