I just recently purchased a Yaesu 1000D from (W4HRK)Tim. I also had the pleasure of meeting him as I didn't want the rig sent to me. It would have been a 5 1/2 hour drive for me to pick up the radio. He drove over an 1 1/2 hours to meet me. As far as I'm concerned, I couldn't have met a nicer fellow ham. I will be watching for any other ham related items that he has for sale. A highly recommended seller.
