FTV-901R Repair

Post by kb9wzj »

Appliance operator finding myself needing some help on my Yaesu transverter.

W4CLM is on vacation until the middle of July. Yaesu has never returned my emails.

Any ideas on who could repair this nice old piece? It is not the modules, but just the main unit - I got the DIN plug clocked wrong and put some voltage through the wrong pins. Possibly some diodes, but I have no equipment to do repairs. Unit RXs great, just no TX as the relay is not switching over.
I am told I am not the only one this has happened to. Thanx and 73.
