Need a tuner cable

Post by w9mkm »

Does anybody know where I can get, or if anyone makes the tuner cable that goes from a Kenwood TS-50 to a Kenwood AT-50 auto tuner? Mine seems to have a short in it. Thanks...Mark W9MKM

duh fix it.
get your ohm meter and wring out the wires end to end to find an open..

also check each wire to all others for shorts..

most likely problems are broken wires near the conectors from being
bent to a curve less than about radius'.
or the broken wire broke right at the connection in the connector and also is touching a wire next to it. ..

molded connectors,, just razor knife them and refill with rtv/silicon goop.
