Craftsman 82400 Multitester Manual?

Post by W9LCL »

So I bought this multitester at a flea market on Sunday and can't lay my paws on a manual. Sears uses "www.managemylife.com) but zero results on line or speaking to a real person there for 30 min. Anyone have a copy or other suggestions? Sure would appreciate it. . .

why do you need a manual.?? does it need repair.??

operationally no manual should be needed.

black lead in the common jack.
red lead in the V-O-M jack.
set the switch to what you want to measure.(if its not auto ranging, set the switch to a value higher than you expect. As in 150 or 200 volt range to measure line voltage. )

switch willhave a flat line over some dots for DC
and a squiggly line over dots for AC.

omega sign for ohms..
ma for milliamps. speaker picture for continuity beeper.

most stuff on any modern meter is self explanitory.
