QTH.COM Swap Chat

Hello:
I have a Johnson Valliant II. I recently fired it up and C98 15uf Cap went up in smoke. I installed a NOS C98 and it did the same thing.
Anyone have any idea's what the problem is?. I'm getting neg. Grid current.

Frank, look up K9STH, Glen in TX. Go to QRZ.com and send him an email. Glen has a "bunch" of Boat Anchors and may well have your answer. He is also one of the moderators on QRZ.com and is very knowledgeable about the old stuff (think he has a Valiant).

I have not played with the Valiant, so personally cannot help you.
