Anyone have any good technical data relative to tirode-connecting 4-400 or 4-1000 tubes????

Page 17-2 thru 17-6.

Think seriously about purchasing this book as it is filled with reliable information--firmly grounded in good engineering practice and ham reliable.
I wonder if anyone will ever fill w6sai's shoes? Ralph w5otp.

4-400 in grouded grid

I have built many 4-400 gg amps.. Just get the grids to chassis ground at the socket.. I have a 3 tube 4-400 tube deck for sale.. Tubes chokes chimneys
blowers Ready to plunk in an amp..

What do you need to know? Input circuit? Plate tank design parameters? Cooling? Give us something to go on.

One thing for sure--Plate voltage needs to be elevated to get the gain you need.

4-1000s work best at 6k and up.
