Hybrid vehicle noise on HF

Post by K2FJ »

] recently installed my IC-706IIG in my Toyota Prius. With the engine running it sounds like a buzz saw in the receiver. Turn the engine off and it works fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem in a hybrid vehicle? I suspect the electric motor is causing the problem, and/or the associated electrical circuits. If anyone has a suggestion or cure for the problem please advise.
