Seeking To Swap SB-220 For Johnson Thunderbolt

Post by Taras »

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to swap a Heathkit SB-220 linear
amplifier I have for an E. F. Johnson Thunderbolt linear amplifier. It is
in excellent cosmetic shape and works great! I would like a Thunderbolt
that looks great too, with original stock. Meaning no solid state parts in
it and all the original knobs and other parts to it as well. No
modifications! Nothing missing on it too! Also one that works great too!
The SB-220 has had Harbach modifications done to it. The Harbach soft
start
modification, soft key modification, parasitic suppressions modification,
new power supply diodes, and new power supply capacitors. It is also wired
for 220 volts. Original owners manual and modification manual come with the SB-220. I can
provide pictures if one requests some. I live in the
Chicago metro area if one wants to swap in person. Shipping to each other
would be an option as well in crates and palates. Hope to hear from
someone
soon.
