Motorola Mitrek

I have a motorola Mitrek, in a Motorola Mocom base cradle.
I have been told that there is a resistor in the squelch circuit that will correct the sporadic opening of the squelch.
Does anyone know of the motorola Mocom modification to work with a Mitrek ?
