Connector wanted

Post by ww7120 »

Hi. Can someone tell me where I can get an RF connector to fit the front oputput panel of a Hearhkit signal generator SG8. I think it's the same used on the old RCA voltomat. It has a plated outer shell that screws on the mating one. The panel mounted male is about 8 tenths inch. They soldered on the coax center conductor. The outer braid is secured by a spring strain relief. I can use 4.
Cheers

connectors. Most of the Heath and EICO test equipment used standard Microphone connectors for their probes.
If the connector on the equipment is slightly smaller than thumb nail size and the threaded body is about the same level as the center solder pin then its likely standard mic connector. Radioscrap should have them.
other wise they would be BNC or PL259 standard RF connectors.
