Just what it says -- this is the place for any discussions not related to Buying, Selling and Trading ham gear. The discussion must be related to Ham Radio.

TIP - for Building that home Brew Antenna

Post by N5JFJ »

 I just wanted to post a very simple TIP that while you are laying out your Wire / Measuring and Cutting it...I've found the TOP Rails of a typical home Chain link fence to be a wonderful Ham Tool. PREMARK your Fence top rail in lengths that suit you (Hardly noticeable - so the Wife doesn't make Filthy remarks) then lay out your Wire or Coax on the top sections of the Fence, in which most will find the Tops of the chain link & Railing, works so well to assist and keep your item straight! Laughing...who hasn't experienced the Mess or hassle of keeping that wire or Coax straight? God Bless and Merry CHRISTmas DE N5JFJ
