Pyramid PS-26KX Power Supply

Post by n9lxv »

My power supply appears to have a problem as it starts acting up when I adjust my transceiver over 30 watts. The power supply protection light comes on and it makes a buzz sound (best description I can think of). The amps are only in the neighborhood of 10 at 30 watts...Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Don, first thought is RF getting into the supply......try distance between PS leads and coax, Clamp on beads....all to typical for RF into a supply...
