I dont live there but amateur radio is OK every where.. more or less.
Just what are your concerns.. mountains,, local laws/zoning.. interference,man made or atmospheric??

I have a couple of KW 480's and a gap titan a couple of wires and 1000 watt amps .The house we are looking at is 1840 elevation .I hope that's good enough .The house is in the country side.Tim

That is the equipment you intend to use. I still dont understand the question or concerns..
That kind of equipment is pretty generic.. Why would Tennessee be any different.?
