help with wiring a mic for my omni d

ive had a hard time trying o find a mic that will work or a wiring diagram. i have a ten tec desk mic and a mfj desk mike, tnx for any help amd 73 KD4BHG

for the mics you can ring out the wireing. open the mic up and the cover on the connector.
draw the conector pins and the wire colors.
do the same at the other end.
mic should have two or maybe 3 wires. if three its likely
the capacitor type that needs voltage to run. they are also polarity sensitive on the output
.. some will have PTT wires to the switch too.
mic common and PTT common often tied together. and shield too.

and a shield around all the wires.
often shield and a black wire will be tied together at the plug as they are shield and 'ground'
or often called 'common' ..
the rig diagram should be available from mods.dk or bama..(boat anchor manuals)
then build an adapter cable and plugs to accomodate mic and rig.
