Yaesu FT-One

Anyone have any personal experience with the older FT-ONE? Understand it was quite the "thing" in it's day....
I have a chance to get one cheap and thinking of doing that to help a friend of mine get his old one going.

Just curious as to your experience(s) with this radio......

Great radio that was a few years ahead of its time. To work on it you will need the extender board. Those are available but sometimes tough to find.

I have a FT-One . It is like new . I also have the operating and service manual. My Ft-One is loaded with every option that was available. Everyone that I ever met that owned this rig really loved it.
I'm retired now and selling everything. Don't know what to ask for this beautiful rig.
I googled the Ft-One and someone is showing this rig operating.
I will be listing it before long as much as I hate to see it go.
At 76 yrs old, have other interests.
