Bogus USPS Money Orders

Received two money orders last week (Sept 17), in USPS priority mail envelope. Had told the buyer that I would not sell to him. He sent the money orders under a different name on the envelope and different name on the money order - so who knows where this came from. The Postmaster said there were 3 ways to tell the money orders were counterfeit - no watermark when held to the light;, the broken band on the front of the money is not broken when held to the light for good ones - this one was broken in the light and the coloring was incorrect. They looked good to me.

Dennis:

GOOD CATCH!

Hope you turned everything over to the Postal Inspectors for a criminal investigation. Forged money orders should get their attention.

Who sent you the fake money orders?
Perhaps it may prevent someone else from getting ripped off if he/she was exposed through this site and Scott could ban them from this site, if he deems necessary. Do us all a favor and identify this crook.
