Selling/Buying Tips

Post by W0LC »

When you decide to buy or sell anything, some very simple tips will alleciate any issues from arising:
Selling
1. State exactly what you have for sale, all options, parts, etc.
2. Be very descriptive ("small scratches, scuffs on, etc.) Be honest.
3. Stand behind your deal. If it gets run over by UPS then help to resolve the claim. None of this "it's yours now stuff".
4. Pack it like you would like to see it packed coming to you.
5. Insure, pack and track. Simple and easy to do.

Buying
1. Search the web for info on the Seller
2. Ask.
3. Get a phone number if possible.
4. Pay with Postal Money orders.
5. Avoid Pay Pal (they won't support you if you get a box of junk) and no one needs to get their money that fast.
6. Don't window shop. If you don't have the money, then don't look around.
