Just learned of this website a couple of days ago and I have read a lot of the posts, regarding bad deals. Makes me scared to buy OR sell anything. Seems if you buy, you're more apt to get ripped off than not and, if you sell, you're apt to be bad mouthed for supposed mis-representation. Sounds kinda scary either way.

I have to disagree. The vast majority of deals go through just fine. If you follow the sage advice here and be smart, you will do well.
